[EN] The present paper proposes an experimental methodology to study solute and sediment transport by runoff. As starting point, the selection of factors with largest effect on the process is required. Application of simulated rainfall on 1.25 x 1.25 m plots last for 15 minutes. To determine the effect of edaphic and biotic factors, a sequence of experiments is carried out on each plot. Determination of hydrochemical and sedimentological parameters in runoff samples provides reliable results to analyse generation of solutes and sediments from calcareous and gypsiferous soils incorporated to runoff.
